A comment on marriage. This weaving is made from a vintage, handmade gown I purchased for my 2021 wedding ceremony, though I did not wear it. There was a bit of anxiety I felt when ripping a beautiful dress to manageable pieces for artwork, but that was quickly overcome by the joy of watching a traditional garment reinvent itself in a deconstructed form.
